The previous Delivery Partner Panel (DPP1) had been in place since January 2010 and was well used by both the HCA and its partners to procure 29,000 homes across 150 sites.
Worth up to £4bn in housing and associated development over the next four years, DPP2 is divided into four geographical lots covering most of England. It will be used to procure contractors for developing housing on land owned by the HCA and other public sector bodies. The Greater London Authority (GLA) is procuring a similar, but separate panel covering London,
As before, each development contract will be procured through DPP2 via mini competition. For DPP2, the number of members for each lot has been increased from 17 to 25.
The panel is operational from 1 April 2013 until 31 March 2017.
