The new renewable division will initially work with ground and air source heat pumps, wind power and solar photovoltaic systems.
“We are really enthused by this initiative, which will be a positive move to align our business to the needs of this sector,” said managing director Simon Carr.
“We believe there are great opportunities from the growth in this area which will alleviate the challenging conditions of the reduction in capital spend associated with reduced public expenditure on general construction.”
The division will operate out of the company’s Dronfield head office.
