CG Power Solutions’ projects include DP World’s London Gateway port development, where CG is responsible for the Coryton Tee-off, taking power from the nearby Coryton power station, which primarily feeds Coryton refinery, and delivering the power to the groundworks site for the new container port terminal.
In addition to the London Gateway project, CG Power Solutions has appointed Hewden to provide plant hire and crane hire support for its wind farm projects in Scotland. Hewden does not own any cranes big enough to lift the turbines, having quit the heavy crane business some years ago. However, its more standard sized cranes will be used for position substation units at the base of each turbine.
