Seddon will provide responsive maintenance services to around 3,500 homes across Scotland from this month. Seddon expects to create up to 40 new jobs through the contract, secured through competitive tendering. The contract is worth £15m in total - £3m a year - and includes the option of a two-year extension.
Repairs services covered include joinery, painting, plumbing, gas services, plastering and roofing repairs.
“We have been working with Home Scotland over the last five years and are very pleased that the award of this new, Scotland-wide contract will see the continuation of this successful partnership,” said Seddon Property Services joint managing director Neil Hand.
