Hyder opens Hyderabad office

11 Apr 13 Hyder has opened a new office in Hyderabad to support its growth plans in India’s rail sector.

Hyderabad is India’s fourth largest city and the headquarters of Indian Railways in the south central region.

Hyder now has three offices in India - in Bangalore, Navi Mumbai and Hyderabad - and 140 members of staff.

“We have taken this strategic decision to develop key areas where we see opportunities to enhance our existing expertise,” said regional managing director Graham Reid. “As a key rail centre in India, it makes sense for us to have a presence in Hyderabad. Our capabilities in rail signalling, permanent way, rail mechanical and electrical, and overhead line equipment (OLE) are second to none. These technical skills are all in great demand, and we are making sure we have the resources in place to deliver for our rail clients.”

The office will  staff working on projects across all of Hyder’s regions, including rail signalling, permanent way, mechanical and electrical engineering.
