It fills the gap in Hyundai’s Robex range between the 38-tonne R380LC-9A and the 48-tonne R480LC-9A.

Bucket breakout force is 20,411kg and bucket capacity is 1.9 to 2.1 cubic metres. Maximum dig depth is 6.85 metres.

The new model is powered by a Cummins QSL9 Stage IIIB-compliant engine, with a rated power output of 231kw and the Xtra-High Pressure Injection (XPI) fuel system.

New features such as a variable speed remote fan, two-stage auto deceleration system and an economy mode help to reduce fuel consumption.

Like existing models in the -9A series, the R430LC-9A has Hyundai’s Computer Aided Power Optimization (CAPO) system, which allows the operator to set their preferences for boom or swing priority, power mode selection of Power, Standard or Economy, and optional work tool settings.

Features in the cab include a built-in Bluetooth hands-free mobile phone system as well as a

USB player and MP3 capability.

The new LCE monitor has a touch-screen facility in addition to the toggle switch, displaying all operating parameters as well as rear camera views. Video footage can also be displayed via the USB port.
