A report in Strabane Weekly News says that the man, in his 20s, died as a result of an accident involving an excavator.
It quoted a police spokesperson saying: "Police are investigating the death of a man in his 20s in an industrial accident near Strabane on behalf of the coroner. The Health & Safety Executive has been informed about the incident, which occurred at Lisdoo Road, Clady, at about 11am on Tuesday, January 5."
