ISG scoops up £120m of new contracts

11 Jan 11 Interior Services Group’s UK Construction business has won £120m of new contracts since November.

Following the recruitment of some of the senior management team from Rok's former Scottish business, ISG has opened a new office in Glasgow and secured contracts there totalling £40m. These include the completion of a bottling hall scheme for Diageo, a regeneration scheme for Home Scotland and a luxury accommodation scheme in St Andrews'. The Scottish business has to date created 43 jobs.

Outside Scotland, the UK Construction business has picked up £80m of work including projects for Imperial College and British Land in London, Dudley College in the Midlands, Railtrack in Yorkshire and BAE in the North West. The business is also the preferred bidder on three other schemes totalling £90m.

ISG chief executive David Lawther said: "We are delighted to announce these contract awards in our UK Construction business across our network of offices, and in particular the creation of our presence in Scotland."
