The project for the Metropolitan St Louis Sewer District has an estimated total construction value is $1bn and is expected to be completed in approximately 2030. It is part of MSD's combined sewer outfall long-term control plan to help meet proposed consent requirements.
Te contract includes the design of four primary features: tunnels, high rate treatment systems, pump stations and near surface facilities. Jacobs is also managing several sub-consultants that are assisting with design.
