Lofoot in-grounds now available in stainless steel

5 Apr 11 Lighting manufacturer Paviom has launched a stainless steel bezel and an optional trim ring to its Lofoot in-ground range allowing specifiers to achieve a clean and contemporary exterior or interior lighting scheme.

The Lofoot in-ground range is just one element of the complete Lofoot family, which recently won the coveted Red Dot Design Award.

The Lofoot in-ground is designed around a separate lamp module, which enables easy installation and maintenance. This allows the module to be removed and re-lamped in a dry environment, eliminating the possibility of moisture becoming trapped inside the fitting creating condensation, which could get into the electrical components - shortening the life of the luminaire.

Extremely tough and durable, the new stainless steel bezel is an extension to the existing Lofoot in-ground range, which includes a high impact bezel insert with stainless steel bezel ring.

Alternatively, Corian inserts allow for even further possibilities. Lofoot in-ground modules are available with a choice of energy efficient light sources: LED, CFL or High Intensity Discharge (HID) lamps.

Designed by eco-designer Jason Thawley, Lofoot in-ground is part of a range of low carbon footprint, energy efficient, outdoor architectural luminaires that also comprise projectors, bollards, light columns and post top versions to create a unified lighting scheme.

“The Lofoot range has proven to be incredibly popular,” commented Mervyn Carter, UK Sales and Marketing Manager for Paviom. “Therefore we are delighted to make this addition to the already comprehensive range - expanding the design options for specifiers even further.”
