Simon Medler is the new managing director of the company’s national planned and reactive maintenance business, Lovell Respond. Simon moves from his previous role as East Anglia regional director for Lovell. He says: “The Powerminster Gleeson and Connaught acquisitions have transformed the scope and scale of our planned and response maintenance capability, further reinforcing our position as the number one social housing contractor and opening up exciting new opportunities for the business.”
Steve Coombs, who for the past seven years has been regional director for Lovell in London and the South East, will now also become regional director for the East Anglia business. The East Anglia business will continue to operate as a stand-alone region under Steve’s leadership; he will build on the company’s strong presence in the region across new-build regeneration, refurbishment and response maintenance.
