Previously Mace’s managing director for international consultancy, his new role as a chief operating officer comes with a seat on the Mace executive board.

His global responsibilities include for boosting Mace’s delivery capability and growth, transforming the consultancy service offer, and embedding best practice.

Mace Consult is also changing its global structure, with four regional hubs – the Americas, Europe, Asia Pacific and the Middle East & Africa – with management teams in each region reporting directly to the Mace Consult board and its chief executive Jason Millett.

Davendra Dabasia joined Mace from Lendlease in 2007 and began his career on the London 2012 Olympic Games build-up. More recently, he has since led  Mace’s work on the legacy transformation of the Queen Elizabeth Park in London.

Jason Millett said: “2022 was a landmark year for Mace Consult, as our long-term strategy of securing roles on major global infrastructure schemes saw us appointed to deliver programmes worth hundreds of billions of pounds around the world.

“As we look to build on that success in 2023, Davendra’s appointment as chief operating officer for Consult, taking his seat on the Mace executive board, will make a huge contribution to our business and help us take on our journey towards being the global programme delivery partner of choice.”

Andrew Jackson has been chief operating officer for Mace Construction since April 2021, when he succeeded Mark Castle.
