The development on Daw Green Avenue will comprise 25 properties in a mix of three-bedroom family homes and two-bedroom bungalows. Seventeen will be for social rent with the remaining eight available to buy through shared ownership.
The energy-efficient homes will deliver financial and environmental benefits including solar panels.
Work will start on site this month and complete in January 2012.
