A £14m project in Fenwick, East Ayrshire, will provide 50 new properties for market sale and 15 affordable homes for Atrium Housing Association. All are fitted with solar panels and are designed with increased thermal efficiency.
The second development is in Vogrie Road, Gorebridge and worth £21m. This involves the construction of 90 new timber framed homes, five of which will be for a local social housing provider.
First residents at Gorebridge are expected to move in before the end of the year. Construction at the Fenwick site will continue until late autumn 2014.
