The traditional refurbishment will revamp and extend the 30-year-old building. Work will include an extension and new entrance to make the hall more visible and accessible to the community. A new foyer will include a reception and information centre. A larger bar and kitchen will also be installed to accommodate large events and functions.
Work has recently started on site and is expected to be complete in July 2011.
