The works will comprise the construction of a two-storey golf pro-centre, together with reception, locker rooms, plant rooms and an external terrace. Associated external works will also be completed.
The centre has been designed to fit into and enhance the existing landscape so that it does not visually compete with the adjacent hotel building, constructed by Mansell in 1999, and ties in with the existing undulating landform of the golf course.
Work has just started on site and will complete in July 2011, in time for the 2011 Ricoh Women’s British Open.
