In his place comes Kumar Bhamidipati, who joined Hewden as director of strategic projects in March 2015 and has now taken over as marketing director.
Mr Bhamidipati previously worked for Elco Heating Solutions in Germany as head of marketing but was with Hilti from 1994 until 2010.
At Hewden he is responsible for marketing strategy, product management and sales support. He will work with three newly appointed sales directors: Jeff Schofield, events; Lucy Furnival, construction; and Steve Smith, industrial and infrastructure.
Lucy Furnival joined Hewden from Speedy earlier this year, although she was only with Speedy for eight months. Like Mr Bhamidipati, she has previously worked for Hilti
CEO Adrian Murphy said: “This new structure will enable customers in the markets we have targeted to be clear around what innovation, value and choice means for them when dealing with Hewden.”
