The CDG Express rail project will now move forward with feasibility studies into the link, which has been under discussion for more than 10 years but has been on hold since 2011.
The cost of the scheme has previously been put at some €1.7bn (£1.4bn). The airport is currently served by local commuter lines and the provision of extra capacity is intended to combat overcrowding.
