The company says that the mission of its ‘building performance engineering’ division is to ‘make buildings work better and perform to maximum efficiency’.
It will look to consider light and thermal performance and maximising natural resources at the earliest building concept stage, before thought is given to adding mechanical and electrical services.
Henry Easterbrook, who has previously held senior building services roles at Skanska and Aecom, has been recruited as building performance engineering director to head up the new division from Hydrock’s Bristol office.
