New Holland’s Energy Saving Grand Prix 2011

4 May 11 New Holland’s Grand Prix is back and started off with the first event in Italy on April 16th.

This year’s edition of the popular competition will take the brand’s latest models to construction equipment operators around Europe including the UK, which will host two regional events.  

Energy Savings Built Around You. 

This year’s edition of the Grand Prix is all about performance and fuel efficiency. Participants of the competition will tackle a series of challenges on New Holland’s latest models, which will include the new C Series wheel loaders and crawler excavators featuring the brand’s Tier 4 interim SCR technology, the new 200 series skid steer loaders and the upgraded backhoe loaders. In completing their challenges, the operators will experience first hand the impressive boost in productivity and the exceptional savings in fuel consumption that these machines deliver.

The Energy Saving Grand Prix 2011 kicked off in Italy in the Bologna area on the 16th of April. Organised with New Holland Construction dealer MAIE in Marzabotto the event attracted over 150 participants.

Taking the driving experience to the customer.

The Grand Prix will then move around the European territory with events taking place in a variety of locations in the UK, Germany, Spain, France and Italy. They will run throughout the summer, building up to the final event which will take place in Italy in October. There will be two UK regional heats - the Southern heat will take place on the 21st and 22nd July at McKenna Plant in Eynsham, Oxfordshire, followed by the Northern regional heat at Miller UK in Cramilington, Northumberland on the 28th and 29th July.

The Grand Prix will provide customers and construction equipment operators an excellent opportunity to drive the latest machines and also to learn about the ways that New Holland can support them. In every location they will be welcomed in a comfortable hospitality area where they will be able to discuss their business and requirements with members of the New Holland sales team.
