Sue Knight is a former managing director of Jackson Building Centres, where she began her career as a management trainee, and was subsequently a purchasing director at Grafton Merchanting GB.
Since leaving Grafton, she has completed an MBA at Warwick Business School and last year became a non-executive director for Aqualisa Products.
On joining Chandlers, Sue Knight said: “Chandlers Building Supplies is a company that has grown considerably in the last 10 years and I’m delighted to have been chosen to serve on the board where I look forward to contributing to their continued success.”
Managing director Andrew Cope added: “Sue has a wealth of experience and extensive knowledge of the construction industry and I’m certain she will be a great asset to us.”
Chandlers Building Supplies has branches in Lewes, Ringmer, Thanet, Petworth, Chertsey, Great Bookham, Coventry, Halesowen, Wolverhampton and north London.
