New orders for Redhall as Vivergo dispute continues

7 Apr 11 Engineering services contractor Redhall has won new contracts together worth more than £10m from AWE, British Energy, Chevron and Conoco Phillips.

These are in addition to another contract award from Conoco Phillips announced in February that is expected to be worth £20m over the next four years.

Redhall says that it is still owed £14m for its work installing pipework at Vivergo Fuels’ new bio-ethanol plant on the BP Salt End site. Redhall was thrown off the job last month. (Click here for previous report.)

The company said in a trading update today: “We continue to pursue our case against Vivergo Fuels Ltd in order that we can proceed to a resolution as soon as possible.”

The company has also announced that it has merged its nuclear and defence businesses to form Redhall Nuclear Ltd to boost its profile and capabilities in the nuclear sector.
