He joined Balfour Beatty in January from the Government Procurement Service, where he was director of government procurement projects.
His brief at Balfour Beatty is “to develop lasting mutually beneficial relationships” with suppliers and subcontractors.

Balfour Beatty has had some bad press in recent months for its treatment of suppliers. In December last year curtain walling contractor Dortech announced it would no longer take any work from Balfour Beatty after having to wait up to 200 days for invoices to be paid.
