The contract is for an initial five years, with an option to extend by a further five. If it runs the full 10 years, the estimated value is in the range of £135m to £165m over the course of the full term.
Work includes all the usual carriageway resurfacing, road markings, surface dressing and patching, gulley emptying, street light, column replacement, fencing and land reclamation.
