Work will focus on tasks including land clearance, major excavations, the transport of material, reforestation and environmental protection.
It is for the Las Bambas mining project, which is being carried out by Xstrata Copper. The scheme covers a surface area of 35,000ha, including the Chalcobamba, Ferrobamba, Sulfobamba and Charcas mining concessions.
