Polypipe WMS launches Housing Code Compliance Kit

29 Mar 11 Polypipe WMS has launched a brand new Code Compliance Kit to help construction industry professionals navigate their way through the water aspects of the Code for Sustainable Homes.

The majority of residential new build in the UK now requires a Code for Sustainable Homes assessment, either to gain funding or comply with Local Authority sustainability policies.  Polypipe’s free, step-by-step guide outlines exactly what the assessors are looking for, and advises users how to comply with the requirements associated with the water usage and drainage categories within the code.

Rachel Smith, Marketing Manager at Polypipe WMS, commented:  “Complying with the Code for Sustainable Homes  is becoming increasingly important for those involved in residential construction, although many find the regulations quite daunting.   By understanding the way the Code works, businesses can gain the most points possible, and therefore the maximum benefits.  Our guide is designed to offer an informative, user-friendly reference guide, which cuts through the information overload to make life easier for our customers.”

Focusing on the elements of the code concerning water usage and surface water run-off, Polypipe’s Compliance Kit provides a succinct, concise guide which explains exactly what the code means for designers, planners and contractors.
