Although maximum lifting capacity is not increased, the PowerLift system slows down the mechanisms to allow a load to be moved further out along the boom than would otherwise be permitted.
For example, the 21 LC 400 tower crane, with 80m of jib length, can lift its maximum rated load of 18,000kg out to a reach of 16.6m. With the PowerLift system, the crane will be able to load the same 18,000kg to a radius of 18m. Jib end capacity is increased from 3,000kg to 3,300kg.
PowerLift is now included as standard on all Linden Comansa cranes at no extra cost.
