The demolition hammer, priced at £569 (ex VAT) is driven by a 1500 watt motor, works with an impact energy of 13 joules and weighs 8.4kg – considered light enough for overhead chiselling.

A damping system keeps vibration down to 9.5m/s² thanks to the design of the hammer mechanism and decoupled main and side handles. As a result, the permitted operating time is more than two hours per day and user.

The tool’s features are completed by a speed controller to enable the impact force to be adjusted to suit the application, the Vario-Lock system which enables the chisel to be fixed in 16 different positions so that it can be adapted to different work situations, and a switch lock for continuous use.

Accessories include ‘RTec Sharp’ SDS-max flat chisels and ‘RTec Speed’ pointed chisels, which have a self-sharpening cutting edge.

The GRW 12 E Professional (£269 ex VAT) is a one-speed motorised stirrer and is especially suitable for materials with low to medium viscosity, Bosch says. This enables painters to easily stir paints and varnishes or tilers to mix adhesive and grout. Depending on its consistency, the material is blended at up to 1,000 revolutions per minute. The maximum mixing volume is 50kg and the maximum paddle diameter is 140mm.
