The Inner Doha Resewerage Implementation Strategy (Idris) is part of a strategy for world-class buildings and infrastructure in accordance with the Qatar National Vision 2030. The Idris programme and the associated projects will be delivered within a framework of outsourced contracts.
The programme includes a major tunnelled interceptor sewer and an advanced sewage treatment works scheme to meet the long-term demands of Doha’s southern catchment for the next 50-years, eliminate hydraulically overloaded conditions, and remove over 35 pump stations.
