RICS wants increased transparency and visibility in government construction contracts.
RICS’ UK Construction Policy outlines recommended actions for government, industry and RICS to address these concerns. Recommendations include simplified, publicly available pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQs) for use by SMEs.
RICS also wants the government to set up a website offering companies advice on what finance is available and how to get it.
