New 100mm Twin Roll
Rockwool Twin Roll is a perfect solution for insulating lofts and can be used as a single 200mm top up layer or separated and used as 100 mm roll between joists.
Laying 100mm Twin Roll between the joists and overlaying the joists with 200 Twin Roll provides a U-value of 0.14 W/m²Kthat exceeds the minimum
U-value of 0.16 W/m²Kas required by building regulations.
2750mm length of this new twin insulation product makes it ideal for installation in confined loft spaces. It is also stronger and easier to handle than single roll insulation.
When used in 100mm applications, Twin Roll provides 6.6m2 coverage per pack. This is a significant increase on the previous 100mm Roll that had coverage of 5.76m2 per pack. For stockists, this means that each pallet of Twin Roll has an increased coverage.
New 220mm Rockwool Roll
New 220mm Rockwool Roll was brought in to help construction professionals such as architects, specifiers and builders meet recent changes to Part L thermal regulations. Used in conjunction with 100mm Twin Roll between the joists it will provide a U-value of 0.13 W/m²K required in the new build dwellings under building regulations document Part L 2010.
The 220mm Roll is 2500mm in length, offering 3.0m2 coverage per pack.
150mm Rockwool Roll & 170mm Rollbatt Products
The development work behind Twin Roll also enabled Rockwool to increase the length of other Roll and Rollbatt products to 150mm and 170mm respectively providing more m2 coverage per pack.
