Seddon Construction and Seddon Homes is now owned and led by Christopher Seddon’s family.
Seddon Property Services, to be rebranded as Novus Property Solutions, and Seddon Estates, which becomes SHS Estates, are owned and led by the family of John Seddon, Christopher's cousin.
John’s brother George Seddon and family get Seddon Engineering Holdings.
The family said that the move was motivated by a desire to generate opportunities for growth.
Seddon Group chairman Rod Sellers said: “This is a natural evolution for the 115-year-old Seddon family business spanning five generations, which will secure the long-term future of the businesses. We do not expect there to be any redundancies in the operating companies as a result of this reorganisation. This is an exciting development, which will enable delivery of the family goal of creating businesses that benefit employees, clients and stakeholders for many years to come.”
