The investment is part of a major sludge treatment improvement project being undertaken under the AMP5 capital spending programme.
CEO Steve Hides said: "We are delighted to have won this important contract to supply Hydro-Sludge screens to 10 municipal wastewater plants across the east of England, and it is particularly encouraging to see projects such as this now being released by the UK water companies after a year of delayed projects in 2011.
"This order in the UK and the recent US order for Hydro-SludgeTM Screens - in addition to the major sludge scraper contracts secured in 2010 and 2011 for Thames Water in Beckton, Mogden and Crossness - reflect Hydro's continuing success in securing major water infrastructure supply contracts."
