Siltbuster further strengthens its wastewater management team

19 Apr 11 Siltbuster Limited, wastewater solutions provider for the construction and remediation sectors, has appointed James Mckiver as Northern regional sales engineer.

Mckiver, 35, will cover the North of England, North Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland from his base near Blackpool.

Mckiver will provide technical support and solutions consultancy on all aspects of contaminated water issues to Siltbuster’s growing client base. A specialist in construction and environmental remediation, Mckiver has worked in the civil and construction industries since leaving education.

Dr Richard Coulton, managing director at Siltbuster, noted: “We’re delighted to have James on board. We are a growing organisation, committed to providing intelligent wastewater solutions to the industry. And, with James’ experience, our capability to expand our client base will be further strengthened in these key regions.”

Mckiver comments: “I am thrilled to be joining Siltbuster, who are rapidly becoming one of Europe’s leading contaminated water solutions providers, while remaining very much a ‘feet on the ground’ company. I’m passionate about the construction and remediation sectors and am looking forward to working alongside Siltbuster’s growing clientbase. Cost reduction, process improvement and lawful best practice are critical for the construction industry at this time – and Siltbuster’s solutions deliver on all three fronts.”

Recent Siltbuster contracts in the construction sector include the Constructing Excellence Innovation Award-winning Airbus A350 Project in Broughton, Flintshire and the Birmingham Gateway project at Birmingham New Street, as well as projects at a number of gas terminals including Bacton, Caythorpe and Graven on the Shetlands.
