The Tier III Super Internet Data Center (SIDC) is for telecommunications business Telus. The Rimouski SIDC facilities will be designed and built to achieve LEED Gold certification from the Canadian Green Building Council (CGBC).
The first phase of the multi-phase scheme is scheduled to be completed in 2012. It is Skanska’s third data centre in Canada, with two projects already under way for a client in Southern Ontario.
