The client is the Swedish transport administration, Trafikverket, and the contract is worth SEK453m (£45m).
The E6 is a key link between the Öresund, Gothenburg and Oslo regions. The section that Skanska will complete is 7.5km long and runs between Pålen and Tanumshede on the Swedish west coast.
Construction work will start immediately, and the road will open for traffic in the summer 2015.
