The council has divided the work into three lots – maintenance, project delivery (capital works) and professional services. The work could therefore go to a single firm or three separate companies.
The maintenance part is valued at between £10m and £15m; the project delivery lot is worth an estimated £45m to £60m; professional services are budgeted to come in at between £11m and £15m.
Contract duration is an initial six years, with a discretionary two year extension.
