The Comisión Nacional de la Competencia (CNC) has issued a resolution declaring the existence of a cartel in Northern Spain.
It has resolved that the accused companies – with varying degrees of involvement - adopted an agreement to fix prices and share the market for the products.
The fines are:
- Cementos Portland Valderribas (CPV): €5,726,431
- Hormigones Beriain €2,508,758
- Canteras de Echauri y Tiebas (CETYA): €1,425,299
- Canteras y Hormigones Vre (VRESA): €959,277
- Cemex España: €502,283
