The C-1554 tracked mobile cone for mineral and aggregate processing incorporates the proven Terex MVP450x crusher that has direct variable speed clutch drive and hydraulic closed side setting (CSS) adjustment, as well as the Rollercone roller bearing design and hydropneumatic tramp iron relief system.
The large hopper/feeder on the plant has an automated metal detection and a purge system designed to protect the cone and reduce downtime by removing metal contaminants via the purge chute, the manufacturer says.
“We knew that this new model would give be a game changer in terms of production capacity,” said Terex Finlay product development manager Alan Witherow. “The results have been outstanding and ultimately will deliver significant revenue streams and profitability for our customers.”
The new model joins the current range of Terex Finlay mobile cone crushers: C-1540, C-1540 dual power, C-1545, C-1545P, C-1550 and C-1550P.
