She will take charge of all content for the International Construction News section.
Lisa is a highly experienced construction journalist - both in print and on the web. She trained as a civil engineer, before spending more than 10 years on the editorial team of the New Civil Engineer. Her roles included features editor of the weekly and editor of NCE's monthly sister title New Civil Engineer International.
A pioneer in online journalism, she was launch editor of NCE Plus in 1999, and later managing editor of Emap’s Construction Plus group that also included the websites of Construction News and Architects' Journal.
More recently she has been a regular contributor to a wide range of UK and international publications relating to construction and civil engineering.
Lancashire born and bred, Lisa now lives on the Suffolk/Norfolk border in a former billiard room (and attached icehouse) with her partner Tim. Downtime is spent tending a vertically challenging garden formed during an ancient sand flood.
