The Thwaites Alldrive 1-tonne Hi-tip models were supplied by distributor Watling JCB.
“Travis Perkins had an ageing fleet of about 350 dumpers supplied by another manufacturer that needed replacing,” said group hire director Richard Dey. “This is the first order Travis Perkins has placed with Thwaites and with the dumpers now in the fleet, we are pleased with their build quality, performance and of course the back-up from Watling JCB.”
Thwaites sales director Ian Brown added: "The small Thwaites hydrostatic dumpers are very easy to drive yet have good performance and stability when driving around site. The hydrostatic machines are very popular particularly with rental companies such as Travis Perkins.”
