The manufacturer claims that the cab “takes visibility to a new level” with an unobstructed view across the rear of the machine.
Other improvements include the option of a 190 litre/min load sensing pump for faster speeds when performing single and combined boom movements.
The new 3t capacity TL360 telehandler replaces the T2556 and the T2566 models, while the 3.5t capacity TL470 replaces the T3571 and T3571HD.
Both machines offer a lift capacity at full height of 3t. The maximum forward reach of the TL360 is 3365mm, while that of the TL470 is 4002mm. Lift capacities at full reach are 1300kg and 1500kg respectively.
Both new models are powered by the 74.5kW Perkins 1104D-44T diesel engine and offer a standard hydraulic flow via a gear pump of 100 litres/min.
The new patented asymmetric cab is designed so that the right rear corner is free of any structural components to give the operator unobstructed visibility across the rear of the machine. A lowered boom pivot point also improves visibility, Bobcat says. An optional all-glass door further increases visibility to the left side of the machine.
The cab has also been widened to give the operator more space.
The forward/reverse control function is placed on the joystick, which Bobcat says makes it easier t to control the machine. Driving direction is selected at the touch of a button while the operator can continue to keep a grip on both the steering wheel and the joystick. This allows for fast and easy changes between forward and reverse directions with optimum reactivity and complete, according to the manufacturer.
