The accident happened at the site of the Horseshoe Cincinnati development. The structural collapse was reported just before 8am and the Cincinnati Fire Department responded. A bay of concrete floor was being poured at the time and it appears that a supporting beam gave way. The floor collapsed about 10m into a V-shape. No-one was was trapped and there were no reports of serious injuries.
"The site has been secured and our investigation into the cause of the incident will start immediately, said Steve Rosenthal of the developer Rock Gaming.
