The original C J Lynch Company was formed in 1970, the company became C J Lynch & Sons (Minehead) Ltd in 1976. The company specialises in Groundworks and Civil Engineering covering Concrete Formwork and deep excavations, Utility and Surfacing Contracting and Plant, Tipper and Skip Hire.

As the Company grew, the need to diversify became ever more important. The company started to expand its Tarmac and Asphalt surfacing division, and is now one of the largest resurfacing contractor in Somerset, although we will travel upon request.

As a direct result of the increase in our contracts, we have increased the quantity and range of our plant, this has resulted in the Plant Hire division being set up and is now is a major hirer of plant and equipment to both Trade and the General Public.

The Groundwork and Civil Engineering division of the Company still perform all aspects of Heavy Civil work but specialise in Concrete Formwork and Deep Excavations.
