This new residential block of apartments, which also accommodates retail units within the footprint of the development, was a challenging but rewarding project to be involved in.

Throughout the duration of the project, we were able to forge an excellent working relationship with the developer’s site team – a relationship that will go a long way in securing business opportunities in the future.

Our team designed, fabricated and installed over 20 tonnes of structural steel which was required for the retail unit, 3 floors of structural balcony support frames and an internal stair balustrade with capping.

In addition, we supplied and fitted a frameless glass balustrade system that was installed along the developments balcony structures, and which all received finishing touches of powder-coated aluminium capping to support channel and brickwork.

All of the structural and architectural elements of the development were designed, detailed and fabricated by our expert in-house teams at our manufacturing facility in Braintree, Essex. Those elements, including the main road facing balcony items, were then successfully installed by Swann controlled crane lifts, in a safe and efficient manner.

In summary, the Structural & Architectural team delivered an excellent package that was completed to specification and to schedule.
