This residential development was a challenging but hugely fulfilling project to be involved in, with the development consisting of 10, 14, and 18 storey residential apartment blocks, along with an additional standalone retail unit.

The project required our in-house teams to design, fabricate and install 35-tonnes of structural steel framework, along with two structural steel staircases that provide direct access to the Retail unit.

In addition, we also designed, fabricated and installed 368 Steel Juliette Balconies, 890 meters of Terrace Balcony Balustrade and 320 meters of internal stair balustrade, along with wall rails, gates, walkways, stainless steel handrails and louvre doors to the residential tower blocks.

All of the structural and architectural elements were designed, detailed and fabricated by our in-house teams at our manufacturing headquarters in Braintree, Essex.

Throughout the duration project, we formed an excellent working relationship with the Project Manager on this development – who will be pushing for Swann to work on future projects.

In summary, the Swann Engineering Group Structural and Architectural division delivered an excellent package that everyone involved should be proud of.
