Not only does the overbox hide unsightly, damaged, or generally old meter boxes, but our overboxes are also fire rated up to 120-minutes.

All of our overboxs are produced in the UK and are designed to easily fit over the most common meter boxes, and arrive powder coated in RAL9010.

The fire rated overbox design has been independently tested and achieves up to 120-minute integrity fire rating in accordance with BSEN 1634-1 and is available in sizes up 1070mm High x 650mm wide and includes an 8mm triangular electrical cabinet insert.

Our overboxes also benefit from the rapid fit hinge system ensuring a speedy and simple remove of the door for installation and to gain additional access if required. Fixing holes are also concealed within the Overbox construction itself to avoid any unsightly fixing points. To install, you simply fix the overbox into position by using the supplied fixing holes to the inside of the meter cupboard and screw into position - simple.

With our made to measure service we ensure the right fit for your project. When choosing your size, please note the dimensions refer to the size of the meter box of which it fits over, we will then adjust the measurements accordingly.

Our fire rated overboxes are supplied with intumescent seals which will form a tight seal around the doorframe once the panel is fitted and the door is exposed to fire; thus protecting the meters.
