Job Description
Position: AutoCad Design Technician - Windows & Doors
Location: Dublin 12/Hybrid
Salary: Neg DOE
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with design teams to fully understand commercial project requirements.
- Attend meetings with design teams as required.
- Produce detailed technical working drawings to obtain design team approval.
- Carry out site surveys as required.
- Generate and submit orders for procurement of all project materials, metal, glass, associated component, etc.
- Prepare schedules and cutting lists for product production.
- Liaise with site team for seamless project execution.
- Provide support in the submission of project technical documentation.
Requirements:
- Proficient in AutoCAD LT and widow designer software such as Logikal or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 - 5 years of experience working in the commercial façade/glazing industry.
- Experience in preparing building interface details of glazing systems such as APA & AMS system.
- Good knowledge of current building regulations and standards.
- Self-motivated with ability to work on own initiative.
