A leading construction company specialising in commercial fit-out and public sector projects is seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects across the Bristol area and play a pivotal role in the delivery of complex and high-quality developments.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations on site, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Lead, motivate, and manage a team of site staff, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery. Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed, and site conditions comply with safety and environmental policies. Maintain strong communication with clients, consultants, and senior management to ensure project goals are met and expectations are exceeded. Manage the site progress, including conducting regular site meetings, reviewing work completed, and providing updates on any issues or delays. Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure materials and resources are available on time. Ensure the efficient use of resources, including labor, equipment, and materials. Manage the project schedule, reviewing progress, identifying potential risks, and taking corrective actions where needed. Prepare and submit site reports, including progress updates, safety records, and quality control checks. Key Requirements:

Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager with a strong background in commercial fit-out and public sector construction projects. In-depth knowledge of construction processes, including planning, coordination, and site management. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams, subcontractors, and suppliers effectively. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to managing challenges on site. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, able to liaise with clients, project teams, and other stakeholders. Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations and quality control standards. Relevant qualifications (e.g., SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS Card). A degree in Construction Management or a related discipline is desirable but not essential.
