Site Manager - Drylining

Job Description

My client is a leading Subcontractor within the Interiors sector specialising in high-quality projects across the London region. With a commitment to excellence and innovation, they pride themselves on delivering outstanding results in every project they undertake.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the management and successful execution of Drylining projects in London. As a Site Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate Drylining projects from inception to completion.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure effective communication and project progress.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on-site at all times.
  • Monitor project schedules and budgets, making necessary adjustments to ensure timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage on-site teams to achieve project goals and maintain high levels of productivity.
  • Perform quality control inspections to ensure work meets established standards and specifications.
  • Problem-solve and address any issues or obstacles that may arise during the course of the project.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years of proven site management experience in the construction industry.
  • Specific experience in Drylining projects is essential, either from a trade skill background or working with Drylining sub-contractors.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, procedures, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Relevant construction qualifications and certifications are a plus.
